Feature List Guidance

You've been pointed out as a Wikipedian who seems to have the whole "Featured List" process under control and a quick check on your main page more than supports that statement. I've been working on improving the championships in Category:Asistencia Asesoría y Administración championships & Category:Championships promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre categories except one (which is close) bringing them up to the state where they may be Featured Lists. I know some of them don't pass the 10 entries minimum and some never will. But the rest of them, could you please give me your straight and honest opinion on how much work needs to be done before they'd be ready for FL nominations? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. MPJ-DK (talk) 07:49, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the input, I've tried to incorporate all that I could into Mexican National Heavyweight Championship which is my "test run" of sorts for the Mexican titles FLCs. But I've got a problem - I can only get the main title history table to sort on the first column, not on the name, reigns or dates columns. Could you please have a look at it to see if you can figure out what's wrong so I can fix it? also when you're there give me your opinion on how ready it is?? Thanks MPJ-DK (talk) 01:36, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
You're right it was better to split them into Mexican National Heavyweight Championship and List of Mexican National Heavyweight Champions, made it easy to cut down the lead text on the list but gave me the option to expand on some of the details of the championship on the main page. I think the list page looks pretty ready, just a bit of textual "TLC" and I'm thinking of nominating it. Thanks for your input, it's been really helpful. MPJ-DK (talk) 08:50, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

In case you're interested I figured out why the table wouldn't sort, it was the "colspan" part of the table that blocked it somehow. I figured that'd be good to know. MPJ-DK (talk) 15:02, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for the great review. I had a question though: would it be wise to mention top ten lists where WALL-E was ranked. This would be done in another section of course.--Diaa abdelmoneim (talk) 19:52, 8 March 2009 (UTC) I meant lists like these: http://www.metacritic.com/film/awards/2008/toptens.shtml --Diaa abdelmoneim (talk) 08:28, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

List of awards and nominations received by Sheryl Crow

If you have time and interest, I'd be happy if you could take a look at this awards article. You have reviewed several of the other awards lists I have created, and I'd like to get your feedback on the References column issue. I realize most awards lists just place the references at the end of each paragraph, but I thought this way would allow the reader to find sources for each particular entry with ease. It is simply taking each reference and associating it with the appropriate entry. This especially works well for larger tables (one on this list has 32 entries), as opposed to simply grouping all of the sources at the end of the paragraph. Anyways, if this template is not accepted, it can certainly be changed. I just thought I would give it a shot! Thanks! --Another Believer (Talk) 22:39, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks so much! Looks like I have done enough of these to finally realize what the heck I'm doing! :p Much appreciated. --Another Believer (Talk) 04:47, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Clint Eastwood filmography

Now that Arnold Schwarzenegger filmography has become a FL, I thought I'd next try a film actor who has had an immense impact on the film industry. I was wondering if you could take a look at Clint Eastwood filmography before I nominate it at FLC. The list details his contributions to film/television as well as his producer, music, and director credits. I've modeled it off of several other FLs (turning it from this to its current state), so hopefully there aren't any major issues. If you can't review it, no worries, I already appreciate your assistance with my first FLC. Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk) 07:37, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Hey

Hey Truco, remember me? lol hey listen I've been working on this article for Arcángel for about a couple of days and I'm really trying to get this article to Good article status. But no other former Project Reggaeton member even looks at it or attempt to fix it up themselves. I'm trying to also get the article rated from various Wikiprojects but no one has rated it yet. I would just like your opinion on how it's looking so far and what YOU would rate the article (if you were a member of WikiProject Biography). El cangri386 Sign! or Talk 18:03, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

You seem to be a reviewing machine these days, judging by your talk page and your contributions. Good work :) Anyway, could you review Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of alumni of Jesus College, Oxford: Law and government? Although I have no particular interest in the List of Hot 100 number-one singles of 2005 (U.S.) FLC, I noticed you mentioned a problem with the image. List of retired WWE Championships perhaps? Although using "WWE Championship" could be misleading and make people think it is talking about the main one. I'm starting to think that a merger with the current list would be a good option, perhaps we should start a WP:PW discussion? -- Scorpion0422 18:30, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

I'm still iffy about it, but I don't see why you could try a FLC (maybe ask at WP:PW and see if anyone else would support a merge). The lead is a tad too long as well. -- Scorpion0422 20:08, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

I think we should note he won them all. He is regraded as the most decorated man in TNA, and now winning the only other singles belt in TNA makes it ever more true. He has won the NWA Tag, TNA Tag, TNA X, TNA Legends, and NWA World. He is missing the TNA World, but we don't know if the history actually moves over from the NWA World too it, so I'm not sure. Just thought to note it since he is a 4 time NWA Tag, 1 time TNA Tag, 6 time TNA X, 3 time NWA World, and 1 time TNA Legends, plus only other man to hold the TNA Legends besides Booker T.--WillC 02:12, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I just feel it is a notable fact that he won another title, making his nickname more true that he is the most decorated man in TNA.--WillC 02:22, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I'm going to nominate List of TNA X Division Champions for FLC soon, since I'm working on it in a sandbox. Would you mind to work on the lead for me? I'm not sure what should be mention and you do.--WillC 10:02, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I read it. Someone moved the article to his real name WITHOUT consensus. No one discussed it afterward. Also, there were complaints about him not being that notable under Richard Young and also wanting to remove the quantifier. Raaggio 01:18, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Still, don't you agree it should be Ricky Ortiz instead of '"Atlas DaBone? He has vast more exposure as Ortiz... Raaggio 01:39, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
He was on the practice squad, he never did anything notable for the NFL. Plus, XFL folded before anything fruitful could be achieved. The man's notability has already been achieved, but as a wrestler. The question would be, should he go by his OVW name (Atlas DaBone) or his ECW name (Ricky Ortiz). No need for a reply.

Regarding this. Yes, I do call you immature. No immature person would bring personal issues to an edit summary like that. If you have a problem, bring it to my talk page.

You constantly criticize me and tell me that I'm bitter because you opposed my RfA. I've said it times and times before, your opinion is worthless and means nothing to me. As far as I'm concerned, it's not even there. But your constant edit warring to get your way, and your childish behavior is what drives editors away from the professional wresting project.

Telling others' their opinion doesn't matter to try and get your way is just an example of the immaturity I'm talking about. Your hypocritical statements about myself being bitter and immature, when you prove, every time we meet, that you are quite the same.  iMatthew :  Chat  00:16, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

JBL

Please explain to me you edits. His ringame is NOT John "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL). His ring name is just John "Bradshaw" Layfield. JBL is just shorthand or a nickname. It's the same way Montel Vontavious Porter is sometimes called MVP. JBL is not part of his ring name and thus should not be in the ring name section. TJ Spyke 00:24, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
